Preparing children academically and spiritually for a life of service
BBS participates each year in many fundraising programs that enable us to obtain free equipment and/or cash. We appreciate your support of these "free money programs" that enable us to enhance the quality of our children's education. Any questions regarding these programs can be directed to Dolly Fratangeli at 737-3550 X145 or dfratangeli@bbsk12.org.
Our school has again been offered an opportunity to participate in the Giant A+ School Rewards Program. Starting October 10, 2010 through March 19, 2011, our school will have the opportunity to earn cash through this exciting program.
Participation in the program is simple! All you have to do is designate your 11-digit Bonuscard Number to Bible Baptist School in one of the following ways:
1. Give your Bonuscard Number to your school's coordinator and they can designate your Bonuscard Number
2. Stop by the Customer Service Center of any participating Giant store;
3. Log on to www.GiantAplus.com to designate online. (Use Bible Baptist School ID#00565)
**Re-designation is required for all Bonuscard holders who designated their cards to a school last year.
After you designate our school, each shopping trip at a participating Giant store using your Bonuscard earns cash for our school! You can track the amount of points you earn for our school by checking your grocery receipt. During the promotional period, our school will earn credit for 1% of your total purchases! At the end of the program, our school will be awarded a check for the total amount earned through participation in the program. The money can be used for any of our school's educational needs.
Also, don't forget to encourage your friends, relatives and neighbors to help support Bible Baptist School with their Giant purchases.
For more information, please visit the Giant Foods website at www.GiantAplus.com.
Gift cards in $10, $20, $25, $50, $100, and $200 denominations are available for purchase through the school offices. While gift card purchases provide you with "dollar for dollar value" (i.e., you pay $100 for a gift card worth $100), BBS receives $5 (or 5%) for that $100 gift card sold. You may use the following form (four forms to one page) to order your grocery gift cards. Simply print out the form, complete your order, and send it to school with your child. We will send the card(s) home to you (or follow your instructions, as indicated).

We are taking part in a national fundraising program sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc. called Tyson Project A+. Through this program, we can raise as much as $12,000 for our school this year! The money we raise can go towards buying books or computers, making improvements to our buildings, or anything else that we want.
All we have to do to participate is clip and save the entire Project A+ label from participating Tyson products. Each label we collect is worth 24 cents for our school. A collection bin has been set up outside the Elementary Office where you can drop off your redemption labels. For MS/HS, please drop off redemption labels in the office.
For more information about the Tyson Project A+ program, please visit the Tyson Foods website at http://ProjectAPlus.tyson.com.
Turkey Hill offers this easy fundraiser. We just drink milk, collect the lids, and get Moo Money! For every 500 lids we collect, we will earn $25 - that's 5 cents for each lid! There are no restrictions on how much money we can earn or how we use it. Only Turkey Hill Dairy products sold at Turkey Hill Minit Markets apply. The lids must be specially marked with a Turkey Hill Moo Money sticker. The entire milk lid with the official Moo Money sticker adhered must be turned in for us to receive proper credit. You can drop off your lids in the collection bin that is set up outside the Elementary Office. MS/HS can drop off lids in that office.
For more information, and a complete list of participating products, please visit the Turkey Hill website at www.getmoomoney.com.
We have decided to participate in an environmental partnership program which is a fundraiser designed to help raise money for our school. Nationwide, schools and organizations are actively collecting empty laser and inkjet cartridges from their communities to help protect the environment and earn money.
Just like aluminum cans, empty laser and inkjet cartridges have value. For each cartridge collected our school will earn money. It's a simple "TRASH FOR CASH" program, and it's good for the environment too, since most of the cartridges we collect can be recycled. Programs like this have helped schools buy computers, printers, software, sports equipment, and educational supplies.
All members of our school are encouraged to help collect empty cartridges. Just send in your empty laser and inkjet cartridges to school with your child. If you come to school yourself to drop off a cartridge, please note that there will be "cartridge bins" in both the Elementary and MS/HS offices.
In addition, any place of business can participate through the Recycle Rewards Business Program. Businesses are able to pledge their empty laser and inkjet cartridges to Bible Baptist School, and we receive cash credits for each cartridge collected. A collection bin can be placed in any business, and our school will receive credit for all cartridges from that business. If your workplace is interested in the Business Program, please visit the website below for more information and to start collecting cartridges at work.
For more information and a complete list of items that can be recycled, please visit the Recycle Rewards website at www.rrewards.com.
Box Tops for Education is a year-round fundraiser that helps our school earn cash. With Box Tops for Education, our school earns cash - up to a potential of $40,000 a year - through easy, everyday activities to purchase whatever we need.
There are 3 simple ways to earn cash for our school: Clip, Marketplace and Bonus Box Tops.
1. Clip - You clip Box Tops from hundreds of participating products and send them to your child's homeroom teacher. (Each Box Top is worth 10 cents to our school.) Several times throughout the year, Box Tops are collected, counted and mailed. Twice a year, our school gets a check for the Box Tops coupons we've submitted. (*Please remember we do not get credit for expired or mutilated Box Top Coupons)
2. Marketplace - You go to btfe.com and register to support your school. Then, when shopping online, simply go to the Box Tops for Education home page and click on the "Marketplace" tab. Our school automatically earns cash up to 8% of your total purhcases, included in our twice-yearly earnings check.
3. Bonus Box Tops - You can find chances to earn and win bonus Box Tops at btfe.com. Plus, look for Bonus Box Tops promotions wherever you buy groceries.
